Terms and Conditions
1. Basic Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”) are issued in accordance with Section 1751 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the “Civil Code”).

(hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”).
These Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations of the Seller and a natural person who concludes a purchase contract outside their business activity as a consumer, or within the scope of their business activity (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”), through the web interface available on the website https://terrawood.cz (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”).
The provisions of these Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the purchase contract. Any differing provisions in the purchase contract shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions and the purchase contract are concluded in the Czech language.
2. Customer Account
Based on the Buyer’s registration in the Online Store, the Buyer may access their customer account. From the customer account, the Buyer may place orders for goods. The Buyer may also order goods without registration.
When registering for a customer account and when placing orders, the Buyer is obliged to provide accurate and truthful information. The Buyer must update the information in the user account whenever it changes. The information provided by the Buyer in the customer account and when ordering goods is considered correct by the Seller.
Access to the customer account is secured by a username and password. The Buyer is obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding the information necessary to access their customer account. The Seller is not responsible for any misuse of the customer account by third parties.
The Buyer is not authorized to allow third parties to use the customer account.
The Seller may cancel the user account, particularly if the Buyer has not used it for a long time or if the Buyer breaches their obligations under the purchase contract and these Terms and Conditions.
The Buyer acknowledges that the user account may not be available continuously, especially with regard to necessary maintenance of the Seller’s hardware and software equipment or the hardware and software equipment of third parties.
3. Information About Goods and Prices
Information about goods, including prices and main characteristics, is listed for each product in the online store catalog.
Prices are stated including VAT and all related fees.
Prices remain valid for the period during which they are displayed on the website of the online store.
This does not exclude the possibility of concluding a purchase contract under individually agreed conditions.
All presentation of goods on the website is for informational purposes only.
Information about packaging and delivery costs is provided on the website.
This information applies only to deliveries within the territory of the Czech Republic.
Individual discounts cannot be combined unless the Seller and Buyer agree otherwise.
4. Order and Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
An order can be placed:
• through a customer account (after prior registration),
• by filling in the order form without registration.
When placing an order, the Buyer selects:
• goods,
• quantity,
• payment method,
• delivery method.
Before submitting the order, the Buyer has the opportunity to check and modify the information entered in the order.
The order is sent by clicking the “Order and Pay” button. Immediately after making the payment, the Buyer can select the preferred pickup point where the order will be delivered.
The information stated in the order is considered correct.
The validity of the order requires:
• completion of all mandatory information,
• confirmation that the Buyer has read these Terms and Conditions.
After receiving the order, the Seller sends the Buyer an automatic confirmation of receipt to the Buyer’s email address. This confirmation does not constitute the conclusion of a purchase contract.
The purchase contract is concluded only at the moment the Seller confirms the order.
If the Seller is unable to fulfill the order, the Seller will send the Buyer a modified offer to the Buyer’s email address. This offer is considered a new proposal for a purchase contract and the contract is concluded when the Buyer confirms it.
The Buyer may cancel the order until it is confirmed by the Seller, either by phone or email.
In the case of an obvious technical error in the price of goods on the website, the Seller is not obliged to deliver the goods at this incorrect price, even if the Buyer has received an automatic order confirmation.
The Buyer agrees to the use of distance communication means when concluding the contract. Costs incurred by the Buyer when using remote communication means (internet connection, telephone calls) are borne by the Buyer.
5. Payment Methods and Delivery of Goods
Payment Terms
The Buyer may pay the purchase price using the following methods:
• payment card via Shopify Payments
• bank transfer to account: 7063392349/0800 (Česká spořitelna – Terra Wood Kitchen s.r.o.)
The Buyer is also obliged to pay shipping and packaging costs if the total order value is less than CZK 2,500.
Payment Due Date
In the case of non-cash payment, the purchase price is considered paid at the moment the amount is credited to the Seller’s bank account.
The Seller does not require any deposit or advance payment from the Buyer.
According to the Act on Sales Records, the Seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the Buyer.
Delivery
Goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer in the order or to a pickup point selected by the Buyer after payment.
If the Buyer does not select a pickup point, the Seller will select the pickup point closest to the address specified in the order.
Unless stated otherwise, goods will be delivered without undue delay, no later than 20 days.
Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer is obliged to check the integrity of the package.
If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer may refuse to accept the shipment.
The tax document (invoice) is sent to the Buyer’s email address together with the order confirmation and can be downloaded.
Transfer of Ownership and Risk
The Buyer acquires ownership of the goods after full payment of the purchase price and acceptance of the goods.
The risk of damage or loss of goods passes to the Buyer at the moment of acceptance.
6. Withdrawal from the Contract
A Buyer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract.
The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason.

The completed form can be sent to the email address: info@terrawood.cz or enclosed with the returned goods.
Withdrawal from the contract is not possible for certain types of goods, in particular:
• goods made according to the Buyer’s individual requirements or customized to personal needs
• perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life
• goods that have been unpacked after delivery and cannot be returned for hygienic reasons
• digital content if delivery has begun with the Buyer’s prior consent
• audio or video recordings or computer software in damaged packaging
• services that have already been fully provided
Return of Goods
In the case of withdrawal from the contract, the Buyer must send the goods back to the Seller within 14 days.
For shipments up to 10 kg, returns can be made via Zásilkovna using code 93550483.
The Buyer bears the cost of returning the goods.
If the Buyer uses the Seller’s return code via Zásilkovna, the Seller will refund the amount paid reduced by the shipping cost.
The Seller will refund the money within 14 days but may wait:
• until the returned goods are received, or
• until the Buyer proves that the goods have been sent back.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Buyer.
Returned goods must be:
• undamaged and without signs of use
• in the original packaging.
If the goods are returned damaged or used, the Seller is entitled to claim compensation for the damage.
If a gift was provided with the goods, the Buyer must also return the gift when withdrawing from the contract.
7. Sending Commercial Communications and Cookies
The Buyer agrees to receive information related to the Seller’s goods, services or business sent to the Buyer’s email address and further agrees to receive commercial communications from the Seller at the Buyer’s email address.
The Buyer agrees to the storage of so-called cookies on their computer. If a purchase on the website can be made and the Seller’s obligations under the purchase contract can be fulfilled without storing cookies on the Buyer’s computer, the Buyer may withdraw this consent at any time.
8. Final Provisions
All legal relationships between the Seller and the Buyer are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions becomes invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions remain valid and effective.
All copyrights to the content of the website belong to the Seller.
Copying, reproducing, or otherwise using the content of the website without the prior consent of the Seller is prohibited.
The Seller is not responsible for:
• interference by third parties with the operation of the website
• use of the website contrary to its intended purpose.
The purchase contract is archived in electronic form and is not publicly accessible.
These Terms and Conditions come into effect on January 1, 2026.
